Donating blood is literally giving the gift of life. Each day, the New York Blood Center , our partner, needs close to 2,000 people a day to roll up their sleeves to give the gift of life. There is simply no substitute for voluntarily donated blood. Without volunteer donors, our community would not have an adequate community blood supply.
First time donors welcome!
Please eat breakfast before donating blood.
For more information about who you will help through your blood donation, what to expect in donating blood and more, see http://www.nybloodcenter.org/index.jsp?sid0=2
Volunteers are also needed to work with Fordham Law HEALS (Health Education and Advocacy Law Society) to coordinate the blood drive.
