14th Annual Albert A. DeStefano Lecture
Our speaker is Myron T. Steele, former  Delaware Supreme Court Chief Justice.
Currently, Partner in the Corporate Group, Potter, Anderson & Corroon LLP

"Continuity and Change in Delaware Corporate Law Jurisprudence"

Former Delaware Supreme Court Chief Justice Myron T. Steele previously served as a Judge of the Superior Court and a Vice Chancellor of the Delaware Court of Chancery.  He has presided over major corporate litigation and LLC and limited partner governance disputes, and writes frequently on issues of corporate document interpretation and corporate governance. Former Chief Justice Steele has published over 400 opinions resolving disputes among members of limited liability companies, and limited partnerships, and between shareholders and management of both publicly traded and close corporations. He speaks and writes frequently on issues of corporate document interpretation and corporate governance.

DeStefano Lecture Series in 2001 to honor the distinguished law career of one of the firm's principal partners.  Mr. DeStefano, a 1947 cum laude graduate of Fordham Law School, specialized in corporate matters, especially mergers and acquisitions.  The annual DeStefano Lecture brings policymakers, members of the judiciary and distinguished attorneys to Fordham Law to share their insights of important developments in business and business law.
