Deadline: Fordham's Urban Law Journal Online Writing Competition
Start Date: 3/22/2017 All Day
End Date: 3/22/2017
Event Description:
The Urban Law Journal is soliciting submissions from first year law students for its third annual Jason Libou Online Writing Competition. The Urban Law Journal's blog, Fountain, covers a wide variety of topics including urban agriculture, criminal justice, the sharing economy, and city government with a social justice focus. This is a great opportunity for 1Ls to get published, cover legal matters as they impact the non-legal community, and gain experience writing in a format beyond the 1L legal writing course curriculum.
We invite first year students to submit posts on urban planning, education, urban criminal justice, and energy and sustainability. Up to three winning submissions will be published on the journal's online platformPlease refer to our recent publications here for examples. Feel free to contact us with questions before the deadline below.

Length: 500 to 1,000 words with your byline.
