Join us to explore how companies are using data and analytics to prepare their compliance programs for the demands of the digital age. A panel of industry experts will discuss trends in the use of data and analytics including new and innovative ways to leverage existing data sets, harvest new data sets, and visualize them in powerful, meaningful ways. With the volume of data continuing to grow at exponential rates the time is ripe for leveraging analytics to gain deeper insights in to the ever morphing ecosystem of risks facing financial institutions.

Mary Caparas, the manager of Project Free at WOMANKIND will present on her organizations's work combatting violence and human trafficking.  Further, she will talk about best practices for helping human trafficking victims obtain stability and self-sufficiency.

As you start preparing for the spring final exams, the Library and the Office of Student Affairs’ Academic Enrichment Program have planned a workshop titled “Exam Prep: How the Library can help!”  Librarian Larry Abraham will provide advice on how to use library resources to help you prepare for the spring finals.  Some topics that will be discussed are:

Supplements and Study Aids Available

Additional Library Resources

The workshop will be recorded, however, please try your best to attend the live presentation to get the most out of the workshop and ask questions.

5:00 PM - 7:00 PM Stein Scholars and Workers' Rights Advocates Present:Labor, Trump & the Fight for Economic Justice

Fordham Law's Stein Scholars and Workers' Rights Advocates partner to present "Labor & Trump, and the Fight for Economic Justice", a panel discussion that will take place next Wednesday evening, March 29th, from 5-7 in the Moot Courtroom.  The panel will feature three leaders of three recent, historic strikes: Bhairavi Desai, of the NY Taxi Worker Alliance and JFK boycott; Rabyaah Althaibani of the Yemeni Bodega Strike; and Pam Galpern of CWA's monumental Verizon strike last fall; and will be moderated by nationally acclaimed activist and journalist Sarah Jaffe, co-host of the Belabored podcast and author of Necessary Trouble.  

 Please join us for an enlightening conversation about the future of workers' rights and labor movements under the Trump Administration and beyond.  The panel is scheduled for 5-7pm.  If you have any questions, please feel free the organizer Tyler Crawford at tcrawford9@fordham.edu.
