Until his retirement on April 1, 2014, John R. Cashin was General Counsel for the General Insurance Division of Zurich Insurance Group, Zurich, Switzerland.  From 2010 to 2013 Mr. Cashin served as the General Counsel and Head of Compliance for Zurich’s operations in the Middle East and Africa based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Previous to his Middle East assignment, Mr. Cashin was the Group’s Chief Compliance Officer. He was responsible for oversight and compliance direction for the Group’s operations in over 160 jurisdictions. 

The International In-House Counsel Breakfast Series:
Distinguished in-house counsel join students for an informal breakfast and follow on conversation. Speakers discuss in-house practice in large multi-national organizations, including issues raised by dealing with operations across multiple countries.

All students and VSR are welcome to attend.

A guided tour of the law school will be presented by a current student. The tour should last between 30-45 minutes. You must register online at least 24 hours in advance to secure a spot. Please have a state issued form of identification to gain access to the building.  

Your tour guide will meet you in the lobby of the law school building by the welcome desk.


Please note tours will start exactly on time, so it's best to arrive a few minutes early.
