After 16 years in prison, Mr Deskovic is now a nationally recognized criminal justice advocate.

He will speak at Fordham Law as part of Professor Deborah Denno’s Criminal Law in Flux seminar. All members of the Fordham Law community are welcome to attend.

The Fordham Law School Series on Advanced Criminal Law and Criminal Procedure is part of a seminar available to Fordham Law students to promote further exploration of topics beyond first year courses. The contributions of leading experts—judges, prosecutors, defense attorneys, professors—enrich and broaden the academic enterprise and enable students to engage in discussion of new research and ideas.

Workshops are held on Tuesdays from 10:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m. at
